Opiate withdrawal just makes you feel bad. Benzo withdrawal can actually be fatal.

Such compassion for your fellow man. Maybe direct your anger at the doctors and prescription drug companies who have created the fricking drug problem in the US.

Nice edits before everyone could see just how big of a dickhead you are. Pussy.

I made an edit on the previous page to address them. They're definitely part of the problem.

But I sympathize. Sometimes it's hard to say no to whiny people who can't deal with life's problems.

Everything I said is true. But it's not worth it.

LL, it's pretty difficult these days to get prescribed benzos, especially without actual panic attacks

I disagree, I think it's too easy. I was having legitimate can't breathe panic attacks so it was a bit more than just anxiety but when I was unfortunately having to look into it seemed they were over prescribed if anything, docs prescribing them for sleep and stuff. Benzos become physically addictive and when you stop taking them (in my case wasn't a large dose each time but I took them long enough) it sends your body/mind into a tailspin.

It's legal drug dealing.

A lot of doctors have no conscience.

You said you were having panic attacks. I said you get them for having panic attacks

Also I said "these days". What time period are you referring to? I'm bipolar and can get pretty bad anxiety and was able to get them a few years ago but not so much anymore

LL, honestly talk therapy would help a lot. If you don't want to go that route, look into Buddhism and mindfulness. It is one of the pillars of dialectical behavior therapy, which is what helped me calm the frick down

I know I needed them (although in restrospect if I had known what I do now about stopping I don't think I would have started, or at least exhausted all other avenues first), I meant that when having to read up on them -because I was like op and felt like I was dying - it seemed there were tons of people that were on them for stuff like sleep or general anxiety and shouldn't have been and were paying the price for it.

Don't get me wrong there's a place for them, but I think doctors need to be much more aware of the downside of withdrawal and make damned sure the patient knows as well. I also wouldn't do them everyday but stress only as needed.

Get some ketamine or fentanyl

Can't believe the number of times I was asked to give that to people who weren't even injured in Afghanistan

Aww man, I got all kinds of benzos here at my house. They do nothing for me except make me sleepy so I don't take them. Oh well.

Definitely benzo withdrawels. .75 as small as it sounds, if you've been on for a while, is hard to drop cold turkey.
Alcohol will help. So will gabapentin.
Shouldn't last more than a week but you should've tapered.
