I want to hear more about this. She the wife had no way to tell what he looked or sounded like and couldn’t talk. How did she even know what marriage was? When they had sex how would she know what’s going on? I don’t know if she could actually consent because she wouldn’t know what’s happening to her other than somebody’s now inside her body...?

It was her 2nd marriage, actually. She had two kids, one that played football for some school for deaf, blind, deaf-blind-mute. He was deaf and the quarterback. The center was blind.
One of the most traumatic experiences in my life was a love making session between my father and his blind-deaf-mute wife. They lived in an apartment and my brother and I were there for the weekend. Saturday night, he and the wife went to bed while my 7 yo brother and I watched tv. About an hour later, we hear this loud umph, umph, uggghh over and over again...sounded like he was killing her. About 20 minutes later, my dad comes out to get water and we’re looking at him like WTF....that was my brothers intro to his birds and bees convo. Seems that even though she couldn’t talk, she was very able to grunt and had no clue she was being so loud. I have a bunch of stories...
To communicate she would put her hand over your hand while you signed.

I briefly dated a deaf woman in college, I was told by my roommate that our bedroom antics sounded like someone killing a goat with a hammer.
