I seem to have lost my man card today… Can’t seem to keep my charcoal grill lit.

Bought this $50 grill and tried using it Memorial Day weekend. Failed. Kingsford Original with lighter fluid could not keep it going.
Now I’ve bought some Kingfords Match Light as a starter for the Original and it still won’t stay lit. Dampers have been opened/closed. Extra lighter fluid. Paper. Stacked to one side. Nothing works.
I haven’t used charcoal in probably 15 years, but I’ve been too cheap to buy a nice gas grill. I think I’ve finally lost it.

You let the charcoal get hot as hell and burned up before putting/spreading it across the grill.

Kingfords YouTube channel said to wait for the coal to ash over before spreading them around.

Put it in a big arse pyramid and soak that shite with lighter fluid. Let it sit for a few mins and light it. Do you know how to tie a tie?

Vent control
Also, use a heating iron and let the charcoal start roasting

ask your husband.
Use a chimney starter idiot. Let the charcoal get white hot, will take about 20 minutes.
I shouldn't have to tell you not to handle it without something on your hands, but you are stupid and gaye.

Keep your charcoal stacked for at least 15 minutes after lighting. Since using match-light enjoy the flavor of lighter fluid, start lighting it at the bottom.
Let the lighter fluid soak into the charcoal for 5 minutes before lighting also if you're dousing it in fluid.
All else fails, go get an electric starter. Pile coals on top with 1 row under it. Plug it in and let it sit for 15 minutes wide open to the world. After 15 minutes remove electric starter but keep charcoal in nice neat pile another 15 minutes. After 30 minutes total you can spread out the coals.

Get a chimney. Never use lighter fluid unless you like lighter fluid tasting heartburn inducing shite food. Never, ever use Match Light.
