Have to wait for the vaccine in a year to 18 months out. Only then can the state be opened up. Upside for him is high unemployment and lots of welfare.

Correct. People are not lining up to get tested.
Exactly!! The situation is getting better so there’s no need to test as many people. Why force people to get tested if they’re not sick. Most workplaces are putting people on 14 day quarantine for getting tested. People don’t want to quarantine for no reason

I love these asshats that are crying about testing. As if people are getting turned away

Louisiana is the state equivalent of the guy who gets paid on a Friday and doesn’t think he has to work again until he broke again.
We ain’t got a pot to piss in but we going to close shop for another month. Makes sense.

the lack of testing
Unless you're talking about antibody testing you're stupid.
Just testing for an easily spread virus where 70% of the carriers may be asymptomatic isn't gonna do shite. It's a snapshot in time, that's it.

I feel as if his solution, while simplistic and unrealistic, garnered a predictable passive aggressive response from u.
We get it buddy. Ur smarter than 96% of TD posters but instead of leading and maybe being wrong you feel more comfortable shitting on other people and living in Lake Charles.

no it's a serious question
we keep hearing "testing" and the "test/trace" but how is that going to solve anything?
yeah you can possibly slow acute infection areas/spread, but that's just going to stop it momentarily and the approximate same number of people in that area will get it (just over a longer period of time)
also, the test/trace strategy also isn't nearly as effective as it seemed early on, b/c our hospitals aren't in the danger we thought thy were initially

The Press Conference last week said 10,000 infected (worst case). We have 4.5M in the state. Why is this a big deal again?

He’s certainly proven he knows how to run an economy into the ground. Send all the new projects and high paying jobs to Texas by jacking up ITEP, and encourage your state agencies and GumboPac buddies to team up and sue the state’s biggest industry. Anyone paying attention could guess this would be the outcome, he DGAF how many businesses close and people have to go on governmental assistance, as long as he has someone to tax.
