I need your help on how to remove IV bandage from skin? It is extremely painful to take off bandage because of adhesive stuck to skin and hair. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions to easily remove? I really would appreciate any advice.

Are you a girl? Because no self respecting guy would ask this question.
So you must be a girl.

Use a cotton ball soaked in olive oil and slowly work it off
When your testicles drop just rip it off

A bandaid? Just pull it off.
If it is an IV catheter cover, the hospital staff will pull it off when they take out the IV catheter so you don't do anything except sit there.
It will be fine. It won't hurt the nurse at all.

Ask the nurse to do it. When she comes see you, tell her your favorite book is David Coppafeel.

I googled for solutions but don't know which is the most pain free. I read that nail removal acetone, baby oil, cooking oil, vodka, alcohol wipes and turpentine works. I am hoping that someone had some experience with this can offer me the right way to remove this IV adhesive square bandage.

Do like your Dad should have done and pull out...

Rip it. There's no better way. It's a bit painful but it's over quickly.

Dude, I posted the easy way. I use to have to remove a picc line bandage off my chest a few times a week. Those bandages are 4"x6" and as always they would tangle with the tube. Did that for over 3 years. IV's, I get them all the time and yes, I remove them myself. The nurses all know that I do this. And yes, I just peel them off.

turpentine
Sounds like a winner. Soak it in turpentine and it will slide right off.

They have adhesive remover wipes/towellettes that can make them easier to remove if you're that desperate
