Last year I bought all of my guys a Spyderco Delica 4. They were on sale on Amazon ($40). I’ve seen them as high as $80. I also gave them ties that we wore for the service.

^ This. I have the baconmaker, probably wouldn't be good for gift. Good quality knife, very sharp. If you're stabbing hogs with it, be careful. You can whittle a shoulder slap off

I have collected Case knives for a couple of decades. I have about 40 altogether and just about every style they have made.

I started this year collecting Sliver Stag. The pocketknives start at about $125. I really love the way they look and their craftsmanship.

Kershaw KEN Onion has served me well for years

same here, and I've lost mine and am too much of a cheap arse to buy myself another, even though I've surpassed what one would cost buying cheapies just to have something to substitute it with. for me, no knife in pocket is equal to no wallet or no phone.

Opinel no 8, it's a beautiful, simple and inexpensive knife. Can be made with all kinds of different wood, to add some variety if you're giving out multiple. Mine is Olivewood.

Those of you that carry knives every day, do you actually use them everyday?

I have a drawer in my garage full of pocket knives I've collected over the years, but I don't have the need to carry one every day. I maybe could use a knife once a week, and even then I'm usually a couple steps from a pair of scissors. I dont understand what you all are using pocket knives for frequently enough to need to carry one every day.

Anvil Bladesmiths - Bullshark. Has been a good knife. A little large, but I use it all the time. Pretty cheap as well.

First, advertising a knife with a handle that is allegedly made from the ivory of an extinct animal sounds illegal as frick.

Second, I'm going to need to use those Vegas Pawn dudes to confirm that this is some extinct animal stuff.

I have a few Kershaw knives and really like the "blur" and "leek", all in black. I think all black looks cleaner, but its personal preference I guess. They are both sleek, thinner knives that don't take up too much room in your pocket or hurt when you sit down with them clipped to the back of your pocket. They're quality knives and at a good price point where they won't break the bank but your friends won't feel like you cheaped out.
