Anyone familiar with family law in North Carolina and licensed to practice here? My lawyer has shown himself to be incapable of proper defense.

Why do you need a defense lawyer?

How do you know he isn't capable of a proper defense? Are you a lawyer?

Just lay out the facts of your case here, and the OT will craft up a defense so solid that even you can deliver it.

I've been in a dirty custody battle for some time now. It's pertaining to money and what she feels entitled to, not what is in the best interest of our children. Today, my lawyer allowed her lawyer to successfully argue that the photos their PI took of my new wife and I drinking beer with dinner at a local restaurant, is indicative of our inability to properly care our children.

How was he going to keep that information out?

If the other lawyer successfully argued it, then I take the judge ruled against you?

How much beer were y'all drinking?

Having had a alcoholic father, you deserve to lose if your wife is right in that you cant lay off the juice.

We both had two as is typically had during dinner by adults. The judge issued an order denying me of my rights to my children as per our initial custody agreement. New hearing set in September.

Wait...you are remarried and still fighting custody?

Did you cheat on your old wife with the new one?

Well, I am sorry your father treated you in a such a way, but that's not me. It's about money.

There's a lot more to the story.

What part of the initial agreement did you break?

I hope this is about alimony. If she's suing you for child support, then this won't end well here.
