The same people who bitch about bureaucratic red tape won't trust anything when red tape is eliminated.

That should speak volumes

Yeah, nurses as a whole are basically teachers with more free time.

RN myself, so why take an unproven vaccine for a disease that has a greater than 99% survival rate if you are not Obese and 80?

You know any kids who have died of Chickenpox?

I can live with people not taking the vaccine, but the logical fallacies are fricking nauseating.

Yeah, what would a guy who's worked in the pharma industry for 20 years know about any of this? Complete idiot.

People need to learn that just because they don't understand something it doesn't mean it's bad.

If you don't know why his suggestion that one group of 20,000 people who didn't know what they received acted significantly different than the other group of 20,000 people who didn't know what they got was stupid, then I'm not wasting my time.

I think the vaccine is most likely very safe but the mRNA aspect is still kinda new so I wouldn't blame anyone healthy for wanting to let it play out for a little longer before taking it.

Looking at it from a computer science perspective, I wouldn't want all my medical professionals to take it at the same time. I would want to hedge against the unlikely event that the vaccine does harm. Based on the low risk, high reward, I would still go for getting 75%-80% of them vaccinated. Let 20%-25% wait it out.

Aren’t you the guy that’s been running around claiming the vaccine causes infertility because you misinterpreted some very hypothetical statements in some arse article?

So you’re saying you can’t answer my questions. Got it. And, yes, I understand experimental design.

Everything. Got it dickwad? They rushed everything about this vaccine, and yes, I’m gonna get it. But you on here calling people dumb and yet can’t figure out what was “rushed” about this vaccine is truly moronic.

So basically your position is that it took longer than you thought it should to develop, and therefore it's dangerous in some way (while not stated it's clearly what you're implying)? Ignoring all the clinical trial data showing it's efficacy and side effect profile? Got it.

And by the way, I asked specifically what was rushed, your answer was the opposite of specific.

What if you get it and infect someone else, it’s not just about you?

They started working on the polio vaccine in the 1930’s and didn’t have an effective vaccine until 1953

"They" were not many. In fact, "they" were few. "They" weren't thousands. "They" didn't have the resources, education or technology of today. But, even without all of that, ONE MAN, Jonas Salk, created the vaccine in 2.5 years. Can you imagine how fast he could have done it with today's technology.....probably, oh I don't know, maybe months??? Massive resources have been thrown at these vaccines. Salk would have been impressed. Endless money, endless resources, endless man power.

To compare the 1930-1950's with today's medical advances is laughable.

When a vaccine is this effective with essentially no serious side effects it is considered unethical to continue a placebo group as you are putting the people in that placebo group in danger by withholding it. People a lot smarter than me make these decisions and im the smartest guy on the OT after SFP

They just required mandatory testing for us, but without any details of how often or when it starts, just we would get follow up instructions... It is just a matter of time before the vaccine becomes mandatory.

It’s frustrating

These same people will be useful to politicians like LaToya come summer next year when there is a large portion of the population north of age 40 refusing to get the vaccine.
