Well, considering i play it fast and loose with the Governor's decrees, and i shared the symptoms...i'm making the educated guess that it is likely i had it. Do you think this virus only showed up in January?

Well I have no clue if this poster had it, and obviously there would be no way to prove either way my next statement, but I'd be willing to be an extremely large sum of money that COVID was around and some small number of people had COVID in November of 2019.

The reason is normally takes longer has more to do with government bloat/inefficiency and funding.

That is not necessarily true - plenty of times when you secure moneys for testing they want to know outcomes and possible problems (especially with medicine) farther down the road. Not all tests take into consideration long term effects but some do.

He sounds like one of those dumbasses that swears they had the flu....but never got tested so have no idea if what they had was in fact influenza or one of the several other respiratory illnesses/viruses that also circulate around the same time as the flu.

But those dumb frickers will keep saying "oh i had the flu"

my favorite are the doctors that do this

Has Dr. Biden chimed in on this?

I'd really like her opinion before I decide.

Same here, also I will tuning into "The View" to hear their take on the matter too.

I heard she is a hell of a doctor and should be next Surgeon General...

They started working on the polio vaccine in the 1930’s and didn’t have an effective vaccine until 1953

Not sure about final versions of these 2 particular vaccines (mRNA versions but mRNA was also worked on before this), but a lot of initial work on a vaccine was restarting the work on Coronavirus vaccines (SARS & MERS) that the 2 prior administrations stopped funding.

Roughly 10% chance that you could still infect your parents even after they take the vaccine, but you do you.

You don’t have any data to back that up

It’s the worst case scenario if you assume the vaccine is 95% effective and everyone is vaccinated. It would be no worse than 10%, but could be up to 10%.

I realize the vaccine effectiveness in a fully vaccinated population could be much better than that.

That’s funny. You even whined in the thread. You were being the “titty baby” that you labeled another poster in this thread.

lot of people, the vaccine is more risky than the virus itself.

This is so fricking dumb. All data thus far suggest that risks are orders of magnitude less from the vaccine vs COVID. Can you read?
