That's not "snitching," that's being a good citizen. Snitching is getting caught with drugs and giving up your dealer's name.
This. Or calling in a wreckless/drunk driver. I've done this several times. Never know, the person they hit could be a loved one. Not that it matters. Those dipshits need to be off the road.

Last week I was on my home at about 11 pm and a car passed me going pretty fast and then lost control a bit later. I waited to give a statement.
I was fortunate she passed me earlier or I could have been collected in the carnage as well.

Called Causeway Police on an idiot (maybe drunk) 6 pm northbound swerving going 90 weaving in and out of other cars. They said thanks a lot and 5 minutes later they passed me and pulled the jackass over. Felt great. Turn their arse in.

Snitching means to pass on your dumbass misfortune onto another.
You did an admirable deed.

I'm surprised you didn't chase the trucker down and beat his arse, tough guy !!

Did the same thing right outside of Birmingham when I was driving down for the UK vs LSU football game in October. Some truck driver slammed into the side of a car and just kept on driving.
