Sorry for your loss that is heartbreaking. My almost 2 year old dog is having kidney problems right now and it is awful. I'd kill for 6-8 years at this point. 17 is a long time

It's for the better. They are usually suffering at that age from arthritis and other ailments ts. It was time.

Yep, it sucks. I don't know if I could do it. I lost a few pets over the years and it sucked when they passed. They are like my kids.

That's some painful shite. I am so sorry. I finally decided not to get any more dogs because they don't last very long. Heartache over and over again sucks.
