One of the most bizarre things I've ever been a part of. This is for tax shite, I've never met this guy and he opens the call with a 10 minute presentation about how to keep your house safe while you're on vacation. And was dead serious about it.

I was warned this guy was a little out there, but what the frick

anytime we have a meeting of 3 or more people we have to start with a safety topic that is relative to the time of year etc. Everyone is taking vacation right now so the topic is fine. now the 10 minutes is a little overkill.

Just leave your kid behind and have them set up booby traps.

That a tax guy opened a tax call telling us to have the mail not delivered and to lock your windows, yes.

We open all of our meetings with a safety topic. They aren't always relevant to the job. This morning the RM spent 10 minutes talking about sunburn.

Bro. You need a trust that owns a corporation that is housed in your residence. Then you hire security for the corporations and it is a business expense.

Why do you not know this?

I can see how this is a bit of a culture shock for someone who still lives with their parents

Tell me you don’t have any big company clients without telling me you don’t have any big company clients.

my last safety topic was about blinker fluid safety. it was with a couple of younger accounts payable personnel. it got some pretty good laughs once the word got around.

I guess I should quit and go get a warehouse job with Darth so I'm more familiar with safety meetings. That's on me.

We talk safety every morning before work starts, and also do stretches because it's proven to prevent injury during the work day. Everyone does it: office, field, etc.

We also have a weekly safety stand down to discuss relevant safety preventative measures. Obviously lately it has been hydration and signs of heat exhaustion.
