Stay at zaza or the W. I think the Dallas hotel setup sucks.

Steak
Al biernats on oak lawn
Bobs on Lemmon
Javier's - get the Durango.
Morton's is always good if you're not paying, and close.
The palm is close
Nick and Sams is solid
Trulucks is right by zaza

Games
Sports bars kind of suck. Near zaza,, maybe nodding donkey or Christies.

Where is your work? What age are you?

If early 20s, stay near uptown. I don't know Dallas to well, but give us some more info

Well the metroplex has 6.9 million people and is spread out as shite so a little more specific would be nice If you are staying by downtown area you can't go wrong with uptown or design district or downtown. Lots to do during week. I take clients out down there and places are always hopping due to the conventions and stuff that go on down there

I'll be as far north as Denton and as far south as Duncanville, so I will be driving all over Kingdom come. I guess I need a "homebase" that I would enjoy the area for the week.

Anatole is nice, but poorly located.

The Warwick is nice, off the edge of the gayborhood, very clean area.

I need a place to watch the U.S. game on Monday and the rest of the week just some good bars you would recommend to anybody. No dance clubs or gay shite like that. Oh and some good steakhouses if you don't mind.

A bunch of the bars on Greenville are doing watch parties for the WC (Londoner, Stans Blue Note, etc) My favorite steak is Probably Bobs steakhouse.

Good bars are: The rustic, the Truck yard, any of the bars on McKinney are good for poon hunting, Hotel NYLO has an awesome rooftop bar that's worth going to. I like the Ocean Prime bar, but the food isn't what I think it should be for the price.

I went once before for the Red River Shootout and was black out the whole time so I couldn't tell you much other than I dropped an obscene amount of cash at some strip club.

Watch the game at either the nodding donkey uptown or Christies.

Eat a traditional amazing steak at Nick and Sam's. Eat an incredible Mexican style steak at Javier's and have a cigar in the cigar bar after(I think Javier's is the coolest restaurant in Dallas).

If ZaZa is booked try the W or the Stoneleigh, the spring hill suites downtown is nice enough as well and probably cheaper than The others.

Use Uber to get around.

Solid chill bars: Katy Trail Ice House if outside is alright, Tate's for cocktails, The Standard Pour for Cocktails, the Dragonfly bar at ZaZa if you want to pull some MILFs.

Edit: The Rustic was built after I moved back to BR, but I've heard that is the spot now.

Fairmont, Hyatt, Omni, Adolphus are all good hotels in Downtown area.

Now, Dallas has a rep as being full of pretentious fiftythousand dollar millionaires....and there are plenty of them around. But most congregate in the Uptown area which is The McKinney Avenue area. There are a lot of bars and restaurants in Uptown and the female scenery is spectacular. I hardly ever go over there though. Greenville Avenue is more laid back and has a bunch of good bars. I know Bottle Shop on Greenville, which is a craft beer bar, will be tapping Thrilla in Brazilla IPA for the US Game on Monday. Other Bars on Greenville for the game are The Londoner and The Dubliner. Probably will be a more rowdy crowd at those 2 places. The coolest part of Dallas.....sort of a little Austin, is Bishop Arts area. Its on the other side of the river 10 minutes from downtown. Go over there and eat at Boulevardier or NOVA one night and go have a beer at Ten Bells Tavern. Henderson Avenue is another bar area. Barcadia, Ginmill or Capitol Pub are good places. Louie's Pizza on Henderson is the best pizza in Dallas IMO. It's thin crust and is also a great dive bar.
Deep Ellum is another bar area. It's the live music bar area but Pecan Lodge, ranked one of the best BBQ places in the state, just relocated down there. I think they only serve dinner Fri and Sat nights only so get by for lunch during the week if you can.

I will be going in July with my wife. We are 30. Are there any nice lounges we can go after a meal? They need to be nice with an older crowd and non-smoking.

Stay at the COMO, play darts at Wizards, eat at Bone Daddy's and frick poon from craigslist.

There, someone had given a Georgia white trash boy the real scoop.

Stay in uptown if you're looking for women. Lot of pretentious ones, some cool, most all are reasonably good looking. It's actually quite impressive how many beautiful young women play in Uptown Dallas.

The Loon just closed, or I would send you there. Anyone know if and where they're moving?

Most museums are pretty bad, but the Sixth Floor JFK Museum is actually pretty well done if you have any day down time.

BBQ sucks in a Uptown. sonny Bryan's Original dump is the bees knees. It's on Inwood Road a few miles off Uptown. Peggy Sues in highland Park is solid.

Javier's has a solid cigar bar attached to it. Bumping nightly. You should get a Durango filet at Javier's, you can get a regular steak anywhere. Cantinflas Filet is stellar too.

Idle Rich is a good bar. Good bar food, good talent, not pretentious. Good spot for WC I would imagine.

New spot just opened up if you're looking for a good late night. Took over for Primos on McKinney Ave, So and So's is the name. It has a patio, much talent, usually jamming unless the town is dead. Guys who ran sfuzzi started it, if you're familiar. Good pizza.

Max's wine dive and Sissy's Southern kitchen both reasonably priced, good food. Fireside pies is good pizza. Best pizza in Dallas is ifratelli. Delivery or to go only.

Seafood? Rex's, Highland Park.

Truck yard on Greenville is cool. Good cheesesteaks and a revolving schedule of food trucks. The primitive outdoor bar concept is huge in central Dallas these days. I don't make it to Greenville enough.

Standard Pour in Uptown can be okay.

Del Friscos has incredible talent if you have game, and a strong expense account.

The Holiday Inn near SMU is decent for the price. They allow pets is why we stayed there & has a nice breakfast. Eat late at the Velvet Taco. Sit outside

Steak House - Hibiscus
