Some say it will pass and it will be ok. Meh, maybe. Then they will figure out later how to wake you up all times of the night. But after year 10, you’ve finally figured out how to ignore all that and get at least 6 hours of sleep.

He's got you on his schedule, you need to put him on yours. All 4 of my kids were sleeping through the night by 8 weeks.

This afternoon instead of having a nice family Friday, we listened to my three year throw an hour long psycho tantrum because she realized my wife closed the car door instead of her. Nothing would break her out of being upset. She screamed. Kicked. Said the same stupid “I close the door I close the door I close the door” phrase over and over. For a straight hour. Nothing helped. Anything we offered only made it worse. It eventually changed into being upset about other things like my mere presence sent her over the edge. “Daddy leave Daddy leave!”

By the time she finished, we were past dinner time and had nothing planned. She threw another fit because she didn’t want an Oreo for treat...after she had already eaten it.

Now she’s acting psycho by getting upset after my wife tells her goodnight. She wants another hug or kiss or hug or song or hug.
