Subtract your age from the number 78. Then, add 40. It will tell you what year you were born.
Anyone know how that works?
Example
You're 25 years old. 78-25 is 53. 53+ 40 is 93. It means you were born in 1993
Anyone know how that works?
Example
You're 25 years old. 78-25 is 53. 53+ 40 is 93. It means you were born in 1993

What's up with you assholes and math posts so early on a Saturday morning?

Well I’m 40 so if just don’t do anything then I already have the right answer.

Yes... Because 1978 was 40 years ago... You're essentially saying subtract your age from the current year, and it will give you the year you were born. No shite.
Anyway, the answer is 288.
Anyway, the answer is 288.

78-39 = 39
39 + 40 = 79
I was not born in 79 AD
You fail.

I imagine it has to work with people that are 19 years old or older.

That’s not a riddle, that’s just the way math works in relation 78 and 40 based on subtracting your age
Posted on 12/8/18 at 10:24 am to Peazey
I said subtract your age from the number 78, not 1978

Directions weren't clear, Collatz Conjecture solved.

You fail.
Riddle only works on an end of the year assumption.
