Probably depends on the area. I didn't like the water in New Orleans. I'm pretty they get theirs from the Mississippi. Slidell may be the same.

You aren’t in Baton Rouge obviously. Some of the best water in the country

Conversely, texas has some of the worst. I was in Bay City for a job and the water makes you feel

You can’t get a bubble here the water is so hard . Your pipes will stop up in a couple months without water softeners.

I live in st Tammany and we have soft water. Takes a bit of getting used to because it is from an aquifer. Doesn’t have all that hard water garbage but at first took a while to get soap and shampoo off.

Uhhhh, not sure why so many down votes, took me months to get out of the shower in under 10 minutes when I first moved to Metairie. Trying to wash off the water.

Might actually be something to that. I have a well for water at my home. It was fricking green when it was first drilled. Ole baw was telling me there was probably a log or something in the path of the well. It is 650 feet deep.

The water actually cleared out and we’ve had it tested. Just like Baton Rouge water but with slightly higher sodium. But yeah. Apparently being basically a mud patch that we live on with the delta, water is interesting.

No, it’s true. I hate visiting family in Slidell for this reason. It feels like you can never get the soap off!! Definitely not like that in CENLA.

What you feel as slime is a high-quality water with a good blend of minerals.

It feels smooth, not slimy. Man, I love getting to shower in that water.

Nola water is wonderful for showering but not for drinking. Soft water is great for drinking but crappy for showering.

maybe the people who live right in the middle of the two cities have the perfect combination.
