I Have A New Belief: The Earth Is Actually A Living Organism

With all what the Earth can do such as regenerate the sea bed through its volcanic system I really believe we live on a living organism. We are like fleas on a dog. Yes, I did come up with this while I was high.

The other day I said "what if we are part of something much bigger than us.. As in, we are, equivalent to what bacteria is to us. So small you can't see with the human eye"..
But if I would have to guess as to why we exist and what is our meaning, I would say that we are just one planet in an endless space of galaxies that just so happens to be close enough to it's star that all factors are in place to create living organisms.
No one really knows and there is no way of finding out so no point in putting a lot of thought into it.
