You are young, you have plenty of time to make changes in your life that make you happy
If you can work to get out of having to celebrate with your family, do it if they are what is truly making you unhappy
Don’t rely on alcohol, it will not help in the long run
Things can & will get better, focus on the New Year & bigger & brighter things in your life

Find a way to mentor, volunteer, or simply help someone less fortunate than yourself. Its the only real fulfillment we can find in our life

If work is making you unhappy, you can easily go back to school and start a new career that may make you happier. I went back to school later in life when I realized I hate my work and work prospects at the time, went back to school and never looked back.
