Not arguing your sentiment on pits at all (I just have a pedantic streak sometimes), but I think that maybe that was a pack of Dogo Argentinos. What leads me to this idea is
A. They didn't quite attack like pits
B. They appeared a little too leggy/tall for pits
C. The caption on the video was in Spanish
D. What's the likelihood of a group of all white pits with cropped ears and black noses?
Still, frick those types of dogs. That is all.

I didn't want to see the video, but did. The esplanade looks not like in the US, and I'm puzzled as to why all were 100% white (probably of the same litter?). However, unlike you, I see them as too small to be dogos.

Yes. Tiger is definitely nursing an injury.
And notice in spite of that, the tiger keeps backing off and avoid fully engaging from the dog.
It’s only when the dog then gets comfortable and goes to attack the tiger goes, enough and crushes the neck.
Odds are good the tiger breaks it in the next second of film.
