Or at least, the most self-absorbed, consider the entire world beyond themselves to be NPC's. In philosophy class they teach us about "solipsism" which is the belief that the self is the only thing that can be known to exist. I think social media and therapeutic culture has exacerbated this in women and resulted in this weird modern "female solipsism" where even normal every day women seem to think that their emotions, their feelings, their moods, are the only thing that really exists.

Modern Woman: OMG, I bought the best bikini in Maui !

Me: This has been a great day. We had a lovely day walking and hiking and eating at that restaurant and then seeing our friends!
Her: I can't believe you didn't realize the hike hurt my feet because I wore the wrong shoes, and then you took me to that restaurant with the rude waitress and then we had to hang out with your friend who didn't even remember that my birthday was last week.
It's a combination of self-absorption and manufactured indignity. It's modern woman in The West.

Wasn't there a story not long ago where the bride's mom was trying to claim the marriage was unofficial or some shite so she's fighting the husband for any insurance money that would come from the death of the wife?

As a criminal defense attorney, there are few things we enjoy less than being told by a prosecutor that they “have a few jail calls” they will be forwarding along…

I think its the reason the writer posted the pictures of her on the beach. It was done to fire everyone up. That was obviously before the incident.
She is a hopeless self centered human being and hopefully, she will be living her best life behind bars for a long time
