Obviously Ebola is racist. As is Lyme disease. As are many names of viruses than. Often they are named after the region they are found in.

It's one of the main reasons I left the company I'd worked for. Was there 20 years. I was suspended with pay for 3 days for telling a joke that someone deemed offensive.

The "joke" was me wishing a co worker a Happy Birthday and saying something to the effect of..... I'll do the spanking. How many licks do you get? Someone reported me for making threatening comments.
