First, I would put an ad in Craigslist to make sure no one is looking for him. Then, if by December he is unclaimed, I think he would make an excellent Christmas decoration outside. If you already have a life sized Nativity set, he could join those in adoration of the newborn Jesus. Or, if you would prefer, you could get a Santa suit at Hobby Lobby and dress him in it. He might not fill out the suit, which would require that you take some pillows to his torso.
His rightful owner is probably desperate to find him, so I hope you can make that reunion happen. Craigslist, my friend, first, which is still free and may bring an avalanche of interest. To ensure a Craigslist profiteer isn’t nefariously claiming what is not his, have him identify Roman by distinct characteristics only his father or mother would know. Please keep us informed as to your progress.
