re: I found a 04 Tacoma for $13,900 with only 65,000 miles. Does that sound like a good deal?

That probably more than that truck cost when it was new.

They started at $12,600.

Know a fella that sold a 2004 4x4 Crew Cab Tacoma with 350K on it for 13,500. I have a 2004 in same setup with 250K and have been offered 13.000 for it. These old trucks are prized for second vehicles and hunting lease trucks.

I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma pre runner with 373,000 miles. Great truck! The only issue I had was a sheared pulley bolt and ac compressor. I am the original owner. I’d pay that for that truck.

I would probably go $12K-$13K. Average retail is between $11 and $12K (NADA), but that doesn’t consider mileage.

I'm hoping to get 10k for 2011 with 365k. If not I'm keeping it

I picked up a 94 Toyota Truck 4x4 for my son with 78,000 miles and it’s been a hell of a truck and he loves it. Haven’t had one repair. Got it for 2,000.00 from a friend wanting to get rid of it.

Everything is always for sale, just has to be the right price. But I'm not actively advertising anything.

I sold my '98 Xtra cab Prerunner in 2010 and believe I got $8,000 for it. Run the private party value on KBB.com with all the specs, it's probably not too far off.

I have a 2006 2500 Silverado Crew Cab LWB that I bought to replace the Prerunner, and last time I checked it was worth nearly what I paid for it 14 years ago ($13,000 used).

Truck market is crazy. I don't think you can find any good, new truck today for under $50k. I bet the bare bones F150 is over $40k after mark ups and taxes.

I had a 2019 Tacoma with 209,000 miles. Got good money for it. They are great trucks, dependable, great resale value, good owner satisfaction.
