They’re scooping up the same, or nearly the same amount for each taco. Then one the roll up. Then the other they add egg and roll up. And mark the one with egg $1 cheaper. Maybe there is supposed to be a discernible difference in the brisket amount, but Alabama based assembly staff fricks it up. I have not studied the practice of Texas Bucees

so order the one with egg...and get it without egg.

Another reason to hate the frick out of Louisiana. How do they not have a Bucees?

I believe they considered Louisiana for the first non-Texas Bucees. But upon surveying the available labor and subsequent gene pools they found it to be an unfit destination. Louisiana is more of a Love’s/ Pilot type state. Types of places where the patrons have to mingle with the smelling truckers and the dining options are toxic.

They have a "Contact us" button at the bottom of their webpage. If they were to get aboot 5 complaints from customers that mention they are habitually out of their menu options, it would get fixed with the quickness.

Specifically mention the egg, or lack thereof.

heres another deeply held secret: Billy's Boudin is also sold out of gas stations. And some of the best fried chicken liver dinners you'll ever eat come out of gas stations, along with some great fried chicken- if you go to the right store.

congrats on being pretentious and missing out on some good grub.

Thinking you are too cool to occasionally crush a gas station hot dog tells me all I need to know

Me too. frickin love Bucees. Drive over from NOLA and this is my first stop. Brisket sandwich with pickles and onions. Then a bunch of shite for my friends and family, including about $50 with of garbage for my nieces. I have no idea how I get taken every time.

Also I want one of those portable fryers they sell.

We have the worst gas stations in Louisiana. I'm out in New England on business this week and even Massholes have better gas stations. Sheets is amazing.

I don’t believe I’ve seen the Cod taco offered at the beach express Bucees.

I want to buy that big $1,500 bbq pit/smoker they have outside. I’m probably going to pretty soon

stopping at my first Bucees on Friday
I’m missing my summer trips to Buceee’s. No Astro baseball = no Bucee’s driving to/from. Actually looking for just about any excuse to head over to Houston. IIRC, my last trip there was late December 2019, taking kiddos to some museum. Whatever, it has been too damn long. Need some beef jerky, Dublin Dr. Pepper, and about a pound of smoked meats in my life.

You can get a brisket+egg taco for $3.25. Or you can get a plain brisket for 4.50. I get that plain brisket may have a little more actual brisket. But it’s not much more. And the plain brisket is not near as good as the brisket and egg, and the peoples know this, and they are constantly out of brisket and egg and have a heat lamp slammed full of plain brisket. Hell even the big fat ones with all kinds of cheese hash browns 3 meats and shite are cheaper than the plain brisket. This is not really a bitch. I’m thankful for Bucees breakfast tacos. But I just don’t understand why they put the plain brisket on such a pedestal

Sounds like someone's first visit to a Bucees. You must be headed to the beach for labor day and beat the traffic. Otherwise, you would not be questioning their business practices.

They could charge an arm and a leg for stuff and they would still be packed to the gills with a line all the way up the interstate off-ramp.

When I went a few weeks ago to the one in Alabama, the place was packed and no social distancing guidelines insight and food disappeared as fast as they put it out. That place must make more money than a Walmart.

Either that or I’m there multiple times a month considering 1) It’s 20 minutes from my house and 2) It’s in between my house and my condo. But sweet I’ve been to Bucees more than you flex.

Bradley's Quick Stop in Long Beach has some pretty good food. I can't go in and smell that place without getting something.
