you can thank the ambulance chasing lawyers, and the doctors that vouch for these "hurt" victims.

and if in Louisiana, the state Insurance Commission is a total waste.

People that chose to drive a Prius or a moped should have to pay for some of this, right?

What about the dealer? Shouldn't he have to pay some too?

All the finger pointing always at something other than who is getting the money. It is not the attorney's and doctors making money on insurance premiums, building insurance skyscrapers, raising insurance rates now is it?

hint: Doctors and lawyers pay out the azz for insurance too.

WTF?

What a racket. You can't tell me the price between liability on an older vehicle and full coverage on a newer vehicle is that much different.

bamarep is pulling the ol stealth brag on I got a new truck baws, let's see a pic so I can know whether I should be having new truck envy.

Should've called your insurance for a quote on the difference between the 2 trucks before you went out and swapped an old truck for a brand new one.

Plus you went from liability only to full coverage. If you would've had full coverage on the old truck, the increase on insurance swapping for the new truck wouldn't have been so much. You're comparing apples and oranges by comparing liability only to full coverage

I went from an '05 F-250 King Ranch Supercrew 4x4 diesel to a '14 F-150 XLT Supercrew 4x4 Ecoboost and my insurance only went up $15/mo. I increased my deductible and lowered it to $5/mo more.

There are a lot of rating factors involved and you very well could get a break on newer vehicles with the safety features involved too.

If you're less than 30 years old and single you pay the highest rated premiums on the market.
