And she got roasted in the comments below, which gives me a little faith in humanity again. That old bird is past her prime and needs to retire from TV already. I couldn't watch her during the flood coverage.

I am pretty sure it isn't meant to be taken literal. Some people need to grow a sense of humor... When I saw the title of this thread I was expecting a lot worse.

There is some selective memory up in here. I remember plenty of faux outrage about the Bears fans and Bama house saying finish what Katrina started.
Personally I don't care if people "joke around" but that is not the norm for a news anchor.
