Cox at home.
I can go to pick a different wifi and get one click out of it. On LTE now.

Will try resetting the modem in a few.

Cox at my parents wouldn't work. Home now with U-Verse & it's working fine.

Just change your DNS to obtain one of the public ones:

Using 8.8.8.8 works and connects with Cox. I just had to change mine and it works now. Dont obtain automatically

Thanks for the advice, but I have no idea what that means or how to implement it

right click your network on bottom right screen

open network

click on "local network"

Click on properties

Find Internet Protocol Version 4

Click properties

Click use following DNS

Preferred: 8.8.8.8
Alt 8.8.4.4

Close browser

Open back up and should work

I posted this on the help board first, but here's what's up
quote:

So a giant fiber optic cable got cut up in the northeast and Cox, Charter, and AT&T are all out up there. Evidently TD is hosted in New York, and the way the lines are routed to Louisiana is where the cut wire is.

They've been working on it for 6hrs, and no ETA on the fix
