While I don’t like the mayor in NOLA, BR, LFT, or the Gov. none of these people are making decision in a vacuum, they are also weighing options against consequences,,,,,unless you have run for office, and you all had the chance, now is not the time for funneling you energy towards being critical,,,,funnel it towards making a difference whatever that is

Yeah, losing your job, not being able to go to work and have an income to pay bills and buy food. Such a small inconvenience!!!!

blatantly being assholes because they might be inconvenienced for a little while.

There’s a difference between being inconvenienced for a little while and losing your business, income, and ability to put food on the table. Five weeks of the latter is likely going to cause someone to “be an a-hole”.

Trump, JBE, and even that racist incompetent Broome are handling a lot of things as best as possible for the most part.

But I will never not criticize elected officials if the need arises and I will never blindly follow and stand behind in support of someone because they are our “leaders”.

If this is all just an "inconvenience" let's shut this shite down every March for the month.

I’m keeping my local grocery stores produce department clean and full... with 1/2 the staff, this is like the holiday that won’t end but every ones calling off, people are scared of being here or using it as an excuse not to come in. This shite is getting stupid.

NO but CONgress and all the CORRUPT Politicians are going to give trillions upon trillions MORE in Corporate welfare to companies like Boeing who did 45 billion in stock buybacks and now demands $50 billion in free taxpayer money.

And as a serf, you "MIGHT" get a couple thousand, at most.

We are ONE week into this and this board has been full of the "IDGAF people" and the "it won't affect me" since Monday.

If that’s what you took from my post...there’s no hope.

It’s clear that businesses here in Louisiana deemed “non-essential” will be shuttered for at least another 4 weeks.

There is no blame to go around. Something like this on this scale is unprecedented.

Supply chains at grocery stores are having a hard time keeping up. That's all they do and even they are struggling. Medical supply companies are struggling to meet demand. It's across the board. What are you going to do??? Stockpile 300,000,000 masks that will degrade over time. Going to create virus tests in advance for an unknown virus??

You can't blame politicians at all. I don't like them but there is no way on gods earth any politician could do anything but learn on the fly. Fortunately the guy in the White House knows how to make shite happen in the private sector. If we were relying on traditional government, the CDC, etc... we would all be fricked.
