Tangential, but related topic: Did you guys know that Koreans (and I think, Japanese) count birthdays differently than the western world? As far as I understand it, a Korean baby is "1" when born and increments up again when the year turns (Jan 1). So, theoretically, an infant that is born on Dec 31, and only a day old on Jan 1, would be "2". I think that's right - heaven forbid if I MJ2 it! (Isn't that somehow similar to horses and breeding cycles?)

So who gets the presents? Is it like Xmas wear everybody asks there siblings if they got them anything and if they did they curse them because the other is broke and now is obligated to give a gift.

I'm referring to a math guy thinking 1M people have a chance of not sharing a b'day and MJ2's epic thread yesterday.

one of my professors used to go down each row and ask for your birthday. with the classes at about 45-50, it also worked every time. this was back in late 90's
