It's a guaranteed certainty that two people out of ANY 367 will share a birthday? Yeah, I'm calling total BS on that.
It's mathematically legit.

Yep.. I owned my idiocy earlier in the thread.

OP wording again is wrong...period...when you do a random sample it takes away your ability to assume what you are assuming...now if you are talking about a "random sample" where each person has a different birthday going in, you will get 100% at your 366, but if truly random, once again, they all COULD have the same birthday...ask your professor....

You really are persistent in your idiocy.

And if they all did have the same birthday that would be at least one pairing of having the same birthday, no?
Are you assuming that you choose a person then discard that person? That really doesn't make any sense in this context.

To put it another way using your coin flip example. If you flip a coin 3 times you will get at least one side to show twice. Either 2 heads or 2 tails amongst the 3 results. 100%. You are saying essentially that the above statement isn't true because it relies on the same logic.

This is kinda what I was thinking but I don't math real good
Can anyone explain the OP math in a few sentences for me? Are there trends in birth dates and perhaps this has something to do with it? Is there equal distribution of birth dates in the general pop?

Of course they all could have the same birthday but you said there is a chance none of them would share the same birthday
