Not sure how the new airport will require more people than the old airport.

I think people are being all panicky for unfounded reasons.
Imagine it will flow pretty smooth because there will be beaucoup help those first few days.
Minus a major issue like ticket readers not working I'm not sure why people expect some huge delay.

3 hours before your flight. It is going to be a clusterfu**k and I am willing to bet that you still fly out of the old terminal.

If MSY is telling you 2 hours straight up, you'd better be there 4 early. Don't ever forget that these are the people who built a terminal before they had a way to get to it and said it would be open in May 2018, yet here we are in October 2019.
