Good example/comparison. I say no. Unfortunate yes, irresponsible yes, malicious no. especially if the bullet went through the wall or something like that. The comparison is a little off if your sticking point is that laws were broken in the wreck on both sides. DUI and unrestrained passengers whereas there was no law broken while cleaning a gun in your own home. If the dad would have shot himself we wouldn't call it suicide or murder.

her FB went dark as I was snooping through it at about 11 this AM. His front page was all him & her, now she ceases to exist.

So, different situation but same end result: Dad cleaning his gun and it accidentally goes off killing his 12 month old that is sleeping in a nearby crib. Should the dad be charged?

Cleaning guns is legal. Unrestrained children in vehicles is not.

I can see both sides. Just because something terrible happened doesn't mean a law was broken or someone should be help to the ultimate accountability. Consequence bias comes into play some. Same scenario and it strikes the neighbor's house. It wouldn't be attempted murder.

yes...if she was the babysitter and didn't have them restrained how would you feel?

She looked okay to me in the pics with him earlier today.
Their Facebook pics looked like a damned fine weekend was had until his drive home from the JazzyFest.

She is going to wake up every day for the rest of her life thinking about what happened, and what part she played in the kid's death, in this particular case that is probably punishment enough.
At some point you have to set a precedence.

I've seen a few situations in my past, at a party or a bar, where the guy was going to drive off and the GF was begging him not to b/c he was hammered. She usually loses the argument unless there's a couple of guy friends around to pressure dude into not doing it. She may have tried to keep him from driving--we'll never know.

I wasn't posting that shite.

She isn't on the stand here. Kinda feel bad for her being drug into by simply being his girlfriend.

What about him? Looking at comments on some of his original photos, it looks like he was in jail prior to 2017 as well. Curious what his prior conviction(s) are?

37 year old who listens to millineal pop rock and needs to show facebook half the show. Yeah...i know this guy without knowing him. Bet he throws 10 bucks on UFC fights at his buddy's house and likely would name his kid "Jaxon" or "Kaydon". Nice barbed wire tatoo.
