They have one lane closed for construction.

Assuming you're talking between BR and Laffy

Isn't this an everyday occurrence?

I quit the basin bridge a while back. Hwy 190 for me.

Can a moderator please pin this thread? It is seemingly valid 24/7/365.25.

Exactly. There was a thread a day or two ago talking about the work they'd be doing and when. No point in guessing traffic, just take 190 and be done with it.

I almost panicked, then saw "west" Phew. Haven't left for Baton Rouge yet.

You're good, eastbound is flowing smoothly.

For now.

Bridge inspections daily until the 10th. Waze would have routed to 190 or 90 depending where you were starting at.

I wouldn't live in or around BR just for this reason. They really need to do something about this.

According to this article from a few days ago, the bridge inspection was only supposed to be on the westbound lanes today until 2:00, but rain may have delayed it.

WAFB's traffic map & Waze both show slow-going red lines coming into Baton Rouge from Lafayette until past the bridge. No wrecks listed, so maybe just gameday traffic exiting at Nicholson?
