I-10 EB near split in BR accident?

I'm hearing two Acadian Ambulance personnel and a police officer were hit by a drunk driver a couple of hours ago.
Anything from the local news media?

Buddy of mine is high up with Acadian. He posted a prayer request on Facebook for the personnel on ground who was hit by the car. That's the only details he posted

News must not be interested, but they will eventually wake up. Pretty major accident caused by an idiot that hurt several first responders that were out with an earlier traffic accident.

If you go by the Newspeople Off Camera thread, the reporters are all drunk or screwing PJ and can't be bothered with traffic on Sunday.

I reached the scene around 2 a.m. About a 20-minute delay for me heading eastbound on I-10.
Can't wait to see the sentence given to the driver who hit-and-ran through the accident.

Talked to a buddy of mine. One acadian paramedic was hit, one BR Officer was hit and two good Samaritans were hit. All are in hospital. He was not happy.
