Pretty sure the car manufacturers don't care how the vehicle is bought. Take your hair splitting to the money board.

Give it time. I recall thinking people were stupid buying those idiotic looking Hondas in the seventies. What do they sell top end Acuras for now?

Not $65k unless you count the new NSX.

I was thinking they stole the Bentley logo- but it looks like after a quick google that aston martin was founded first 1913, and Bentley 1919.
Bentley wins.

This is probably a good move based on the "$65K for a Hyundai?!?" replies in here.
If they keep producing quality luxury cars, they will shake off the Hyundai stigma.
Plus, most people looking to buy a $50K sedan feel slighted by some "non luxury brand" even if the non luxury sedan is nicer than some of the luxury brand sedans in the same price range. This will help capture that portion of the market after a few years.

Love, love me a Bentley.

Which is crazy. Most reviews I have seen have it rated better than the 7 series. So a better luxury car, with better warranty, with waaaaaaaaay cheaper maintenance, and a 25k less sticker price, still wont be bought as much.
Shows how humans are barely a step up from sheep
It's hard for car companies to shake a stigma, but Hyundai is a company that has shown it can, and now it's going next level. Wait till they produce a F150 killer.

I really like the look of the new G80 Sport.

Doesn't change the fact that more than 10% of the people here could be potential buyers of this car.
More than 10% may be able to afford this car, but I wouldn't suggest that they're actually in the market for something like it or its competitors. It doesn't exactly compete with F250s and Yukon XLs.

I was getting my wife's oil changed last Friday and a Salesman mentioned that to me. He said the Equass would come out the year after.
He also told me the lead Engineer who designed the Genesis was the same one who designed the BMW 5 series Pre 2006.
