Hypothetical OTC Covid Test Poll

Hypothetically, if you received your 2nd Moderna vaccine 10 days ago and take 4 over the counter Covid tests and all 4 are negative in one nostril and positive in the other, would you:
A) Assume the tests are trash and disregard
B) Cancel your Mexican vacation rather than run the risk of being positive and not being allowed to return home
C) A combination of A and the vaccine interfering

You aren’t testing positive in Mexico especially if your resort is gonna allow you to stay for free if you’re positive.

I would think consitutionally ith would be really difficult to completely deny a US Natural born citizen right of return.

Yeah, I know. It’s not me, but someone in our group, lol. It will be exactly 2 weeks by the time we leave. Just trying to see if even though Moderna isn’t injecting the actual virus, if it could still be causing messed up results. Weird for the same nostril to swab negative 4 times in a row and the the other one positive. They took it just as a precaution because they found out they were exposed.

no, but my Dr said he’s not real sure how much weight to put on those home test kits.

I’m really just asking do you consider the results valid or invalid in that situation. Calm down, no one is trying to get on a plane if they actually have covid. But no one wants to get stuck in Mexico for testing positive if it’s really just the vaccine screwing with these cheap quick screen tests.

Seems like with the money OP spent on the OTC kits….could have gotten a decent test at an urgent care or elsewhere instead….with more reliable results
