I am severely dehydrated and I can't keep anything down.
Anybody used this service and did it work? Also, which agency and how much did it cost?
Did you have to make an appointment or are walk-ins welcome?
Thanks in advanced

It will be pricey. They can’t do labs. You will pay per bag. And you will not get a prescription for Zofran. Which is what you’ll need at home.
Try a freestanding ER. If you have insurance it will probably cost less. Cash price for multiple bags with vitamins and electrolytes at an IV therapy place will add up quick.
You ER copay is what it is.

I have to agree with this.
If you are so sick then just go to the ER. They will give you fluids but also prescribe you something to keep the nausea away. The price may well be cheaper, depending on your insurance.

I went to the one at Perkins and Essen. Hydration bag $130. Worth every penny.

Check with your primary care doc first as they may be able to do that in the office.

If you're having a hard time keeping food and fluids down, I'd really encourage you to go to an ER. I got lost in Muenster Texas on a dirt bike for 3 hours and got severely dehydrated. Went to the ER and my kidneys had shut down. Worst experience in my life. I had charlie horses in virtually every muscle from my small toes, to the normal leg cramps, the muscles in my spine were cramping, neck muscle had a cramp. The cramps hurt but it took 3 days for my kidneys to start back up.

Cramping has been pretty bad. Shin, toes, feet, etc...

frick no don’t go to the ER. You looking at thousands of dollars & hours of waiting. There’s a lil clinic in Pville that you can walk into and get one of those “banana bags”. Went to it after Ida when I decided to go help tarp a roof the morning after drinking bourbon all night. This one is called Neighborhood Health. It’s on airline near old Jefferson in Prairieville. I’m sure there’s others like it. Was $120

Holy crap! For a bag of saline, water, and electrolytes?
I should’ve went into medical.

If your electrolytes get out of wack, you could have a cardiac arrest. Be careful with all that. I doubt they check that at one of those places
