Hey, we hit 52° yesterday morning and 54° this morning. It has been downright pleasant the past few days.
Only a sucker would actually believe that would last in mid-September in the Southeast.
Currently 68°/61° with 5ish mph breeze out of the NNE. Nice night for porch beer drinking.
ETA: the mosquitoes are still hanging in there, though. Good thing they don't bother me.

This isn't unexpected. It was expected to become a tropical storm pretty quickly but keep moving west deep into the weekend.
