Hurricane Delta also rapidly intensified from a TD to a Cat 4 in 24 hours in October. August doesn’t scare me like September and October for the gulf coast. Home brews in the gulf and Caribbean can be just as bad. Which usually happens in late September into October

Not today. Coolest August on record, quiet gulf. They see their power slowly slipping away.

I’m not saying August can’t have some strong ones. Heck Laura the strongest hurricane ever to hit Louisiana was August. I’m just saying historically September into October can cause Louisiana the most trouble

Not a threat. 98L will move onshore tomorrow and bring some rain to South Texas.
