So you think it's going to be stronger or weaker than what's predicted?

That kind of goes with the double circulation trend that GFS ran yesterday. Interesting

At the rate it keeps shifting west you have to wonder if it becomes a W LA threat. It has been shifting west since yesterday almost every run

The GFS was has been pretty much Morgan City/Houma this whole time.

Medic is saying stronger than Euro is predicting because it makes the spin west of Nate too strong in the gulf and puts too much shear over it.

I'm not as sure the Euro isn't on to something here. It's a maddening complex scenario on intensity though. All interests should plan like a Cat 2 is incoming and just hope the Euro has the right idea.

GFS definitely has been consistent. I mentioned that yesterday at how the ensembles were incredibly compact in confidence.

I think it has the capability to bomb out and be stronger given the conditions in the gulf. It all depends on how much land it goes over before entering the gulf, how fast it moves through the gulf, the speed and strength of the trough coming out of the FL straits, and if this storm does in fact slow down, will it be impacted enough by the front coming down to pull it NE away from here.

CMC

GFS

Global

Pretty confident and narrow window. Don't think Euro ensembles are out yet.

Thank you. I couldn't tell if "bomb out" meant get bigger or fizzle into just a big mess of a thunderstorm

Gotcha. Bomb, as in rapidly intensifying.
