Hurricane Nate - Warnings Grand Isle to Alabama/Florida - Storm Surge up to 11 Feet
RDO data is confirming vortex reflectivity on the leeward parahelic edge as confirmed by NAVstar. GTO intensification should continue throughout sub-linear thermo piling. The one thing that is surprising is the rapid acceleration in the nanometer spectrometry that one would not normally expect with Gerdien aspiration. The 10am NNOMSSGGA model should give us a better idea as to the whether laminar downward influx is occurring or if what we are seeing is actually anemometrical error due to ceiling sheer.

The Mississippi Coast is the worst place on the entire Gulf Coast when it comes to setting up conditions for a big storm surge. The shallow water and shape of the coast funnels the water in there and you can get some big surges.

Well the dumb fricks in this city can't help but drive under them.
NOLA really needs to add barricade arms at the underpasses, because this city was dumb enough to build underpasses.
Look at the size of the station they had to build to prevent I-10 from ever flooding at the underpass.

The forecast for Baton Rouge is winds of 5-10 mph.
Never forget.

Looking at the radar loop on WWL, Nate looks to me like it's moving Northwest

Recon going in for another pass, Nate needs to starting turning north soon given the fwd speed

Yeah, it would really be great to have ground level railroad crossings where all those under passes are now.
