Not on this current path unless you are one of those people who refers to all of the Destin area as 30A.

I think people get Scenic confused with 30A, which isn't even in Destin.

Rain and some wind. Maybe a few trees down and sporadic power outages.

This is beyond me, so had to plug in numbers into AI using flight level height.

Apparently it converts to 130.5 mph.

Convective bursts still firing along entire western side of eyewall. Eastern side is surprisingly weakest appearing eyewall on IR at the moment.

Most of the hurricane models like the HWRF, HMON, and HAFS A have actually been showing the western and northern eyewalls as the most intense parts of the eyewall at landfall so I'd still be preparing for 100+ mph winds gusts as far west as Pensacola. The edge of the western eyewall brushes close to Lillian (AL) and Perdido Key as well.

Landfall should be about 7P Central, correct?

I consider Dune Allen (or however you spell it) to Panama City is 30A.

And yes, right now it looks like some portion of that will experience some eyewall.

30A connects to 98 at Topsail (Santa Rosa Beach) and goes all the way to PCB.

Is 30A gonna be in good shape after this storm?

Well, it will probably be on the "dirty" side of the storm and surge is going to be a factor.

I know. That’s basically what I said. Topsail is a WMA. I was talking about the inhabited part of 30A.

And if Ft Walton is a direct hit, a good portion of 30A will experience some eyewall.

Looking like a Ft Walton direct hit. Eye wall extends about 15 miles out from center. The beginning of 30A is more than 15 miles from Ft Walton.
