Looks like the SWA flight made it. He's over Pensacola now and heading out to San Antonio. Must have flown on hurricane hunters before going commercial

Why?

He's the only one that far south.

Cloud tops over land are below 30,000 feet. They're cruising at 38,000 ft way above the weather.

Only good thing to come out of the strengthening is that we’ll never have another one named this god awful name again.

What’s up with that name anyway?

Edit…sorry I didn’t see the other thread about this.

WE PROTECT DOGS IN FLORIDA ??

This comes after someone left a DOG to DIE on the side of the road before Milton, but the dog was RESCUED before anything could happen

"That you'd tie a dog up on the side of the freeway?"

That dog, Trooper, was found tied to a fence on I-75 in Tampa with floodwaters rising. A Florida Highway Patrol trooper pulled him out

After that, Florida passed "Trooper's Law," making it a FELONY to leave a dog tied up and stranded during a disaster

TAKE YOUR PETS. Give them to a free hurricane shelter.

The White House just said that Trump will not be attending the Bama/Georgia game, citing weather uncertainties.

I think its about time to crack open a beer here as well. Bought a couple of 12 packs yesterday, and 4 pack of Ghost in the Machine.

Thanks for that. I see there is now a Cessna Citation X up at 48,000 going the opposite direction in the same area.

OUR PRESIDENT CARES.

AMERICAN LIVES over his appearance at a game ????

"Based on the fact that a huge Hurricane/Storm is coming, it is important to have our wonderful First Responders, Law Enforcement, and others, focused on that Storm, and in no way be thinking about the safety, or presence, of the President of the United States, ME!"

"Therefore, I will miss that potentially unbelievable Game, Alabama vs. Georgia but, hopefully, the Game will go on despite the weather!"

"I will be visiting both of those Teams at a later date. Instead, I will go to Tennessee, where we have quickly called a Big Rally."

A couple days ago Trump clearly said he wanted to go to the Alabama game, but not if it impacts safety. The right move

I hope all you Florida and Bama Baws stay safe. As someone that’s been through Rita and Laura this is going to suck. Hopefully minimal damage and just a big inconvenience with no power. Thankfully this fricker is moving fast so the amount of time in its teeth will be minimal.
