Cantore getting his cameraman to film from on the porch was a nice touch because the rain coming off of the roof made it look a lot more intense.

maybe we get lucky and someone charges him and takes a knee to the nuts like this.

That's going to be your night.

Landfall appears to be happening now on the AL/MS line based on velocities out of Mobile.

I’m in Harrison County waiting on my Lieutenant Dan moment (i’m 3 bourbons in right now, humour me) and there ain’t shite going on. It was sunny at sunset. Uncle in Pensacola said shite ain’t going on over there either. There is that constant hum of wind through the pines, so I’ll keep y’all posted.

Tropical Storm Gordon has killed one person, according to emergency managers in northwest Florida. The National Weather Service reports the death was caused by a tree falling onto a trailer. So far, this is the only fatality caused by Tropical Storm Gordon; it occurred in West Pensacola, Florida, the NWS said.

All good here in Gulf Shores! Some mediocre squalls. Still have power. I swear the thunderstorm that blew through here last week packed a better punch in wind. I’m just worried about tides backing in the bay tomm morning.

According to the I love Ft Morgan Drinking Club Facebook page everything is great in Ft Morgan. The drunks are enjoying the cleansing rains.

You just missed the worst of it. Fort Morgan and east got some 50 mph sustained.
