Thanks. Just got back from target getting hurricane essentials.
Expecting the storm and aftermath to last only an hour? You need at least 3 - 4 more bottles.

Got some wind and rain. The weather channel is hilarious. Checking in from the coast of SWFL. I justf hope it doesn't camp out over LA/MS
ETA - Yeah, one bottle wouldn't last long on a normal night

I’m in Biloxi at the Beau debating what I want to do. I guess if I decide to leave it’ll be in the AM. I’ve got my car parked on the 4the floor of the garage. I’d rather not leave if it’s just going to be a cat 1 or 2. I don’t think they would make me leave. Probably going to stay. I’ve got a room overlooking the gulf so it could be fun but I don’t want to die either. Decisions decisions

Stay safe Walt but if you decide to be a daredevil and ride out the storm, horizontal video is appreciated.

Frankly, I found out several years ago that WU was not for me for the reason you mentioned and because of an abundance of arse kissing and self aggrandizement. In contrast TD has some posters with knowledge and solid takes.
I asked what I thought was a legitimate question that warranted an I don't know or an informed opinion. So I get from you some weak sauce quip. You're a really clever person.
Do you have an opinion on the matter?

Looks like a Pass Christian landfall per the current prediction.
Are we still looking at a 4 p.m. landfall tomorrow?

I live on the beach closer to Gulfport. I'm riding it out.

Keep checking the opening post for the latest map to give you a good idea for your question.

It’s shifted to the east the last 24 hours. Baton Rouge might not even feel a fart of wind at this rate.

No Ghost?

If Baton Rouge doesn’t get hit it will be a miracle, I mean we been calling for Gordon for years.
I’ll see myself out

Is that tigerbandpiccalo in the picture?

I'm sure it has been posted, but Bearpaws Tropical weather page is legit. It's a collection of all the models and images.

This thing isn’t even gonna hit New Orleans at this rate

Just got a hurricane warning from the NWS on my phone.
Posted on 9/3/18 at 4:37 pm to Bullfrog
Yep...this one is coming right up the La/ Ms State line or a little West. Just look at the water vapor movement coming off the high over the Carolinas..it doesn't take a computer program to see where this one will hit. All weather in the Gulf is basically moving WNW. Gordon will too, then curve around to the North following the ridge on the High.
