Without clicking that link I can tell you with certainty that it is a link to an Earth Cam feed of a cam in Myrtle Beach, SC....so by definition it is not a blind link.

The camera caught a glimpse of the satellite dish a bit ago. I figure we're going to lose that dish and this feed at some point, right?

That was a point-to-point microwave transmitter, which is probably their main connection back to land. It looked pretty securely bolted to the railing or whatnot.
Now the rain intensity may degrade the signal enough to lose connection however. Tends to happen with those.
