Only a woman could take the largest hurricane to threaten the east coast in 3 decades, and make it about herself. Nice work

I think that will be the biggest takeaway tonight. Hurricane force winds will have expanded a bit but no substantial strengthening.

I hatched 77 million this year. I raise them to 5-8 inches in length and sell them to other farmers who grow them to food size to be processed. I sell roughly 40 million a year. Takes about 6 months to grow them to that size. You only get 60-70% back due to mortality from disease, predators, etc so that’s why I hatch more than I sell.

If the ridge holds she gonna be slower than a fat girl at Walmart after the battery on her rascal dies out in the middle of the little Debbie isle

Neighbors and I both have generators, gas, and lots of beer and wine. I think we’re ready.

So we’re talking about minimum 100-120 mph sustained winds at landfall for 4-5 hours for whoever takes the direct hit?

She should be fine in Sumter. Its a little further inland and its not real far from Columbia. The biggest concern I would have with Sumter is if they get a ton of rain, it could flood in parts. I had to ride through there coming back from McCrady Training Center when the historic flood happened. I think if this thing kind follows the Euro model, Horry, Georgetown, Williamsburg, Marion and Florence counties are going to be f'ed.

Based on the current pass, hurricane force winds extend 65 miles NE from the center.

If your mom is in Sumter then she really only has to worry about a lot of rain. If she's not in a flood prone area, then no reason to leave.
