Broadcasting from Jockey’s Ridge would be cool.

Where can we get an updated projected rainfall total? I know initially it was up to like 40+ inches inland in the mountains but the recent shifts seem to take that down I would think.

At what point do we start ignoring the Euro?

It may be wrong but it has consistently beat the other computer models over the last decade

This Sunday, I suppose.

As crazy as that model seems, haven't many of the models indicate a potential stall along the coastline?
No one was believing the Harvey forecasts, until it happened.

The Cajun Navy is hiring people to head that way. They might not need you (but moving stuff will be needed to access some areas) but they might be able to tell you who to contact. You will def he needed.

Newest advisory (8am EDT) has winds down to 130 mph and pressure up to 950mb as the eyewall replacement cycle takes place. Hopefully the public doesn’t interpret it as meaning that Florence is weakening.

Is Isaac just nothing to worry about anymore? Is it just going to dissipate?

I wouldn't start worrying about Isaac just yet, but I wouldn't write it off either.

That is exactly what the public will do. “Baby, I told you this storm wasn’t shite. Hey junior out of the car, we’re staying here.”

This rainfall is beyond drastically different. At one point it was further west into the mountains. Now it seems like the west part is much more of a non event rain wise... aka 1-6 inches vs the 15+. This has to be a positive impact for reduced flooding chances.
