Well the euro has it on the east side of Florida not in the gulf

But if it took a gulf track it would be early next week. 9- 10 days out.

Hell I just ran the euro model again now it’s not showing a strong storm hitting Florida it has it as TD/weak TS. Can’t even find the run I looked at early this morning

Thanks. We are heading to Fairhope this weekend to visit the in laws and taking my daughter to swim with dolphins. Just was hoping it wouldn't wipe that out.

Some of the 12z models are showing Dorian slipping into the Gulf after a South Florida landfall. This has been hinted at in the ensemble data as a low end possibility.

he was part of a very successful show about tornado/storm chasers on Discovery Channel several years back

in fact... in 1 episode he was in NOLA for a hurricane IIRC
