00Z NAM which is not specifically designed for modeling the tropics has shifted about 30 or so miles closer to the Florida coast (WSW of previous run).
We can ignore the storm on the NAM and look the larger scale 500mb pattern. I posted back many pages ago that there were two troughs in the Northern Stream to watch, an initial "kicker" and then a stronger one that pulls the storm out. On the 00z NAM, the initial s/w is weaker allowing the system to drift a bit farther west. However, much like the Euro, the second s/w is stronger and pulls the system nearly due north. Now, issues arise if the 2nd s/w comes in weaker.

That’s just marketing. They love Heineken in the small cans.

Red Stripe is def more seen in Jamaica and oddly, in Mexico. Haven’t seen it at all in St Lucia, Turks, basically most of the British and French West Indies. Bahamas seems to favor Heineken, though.
I’m a recreational diver and island hop a decent amount throughout the summer. Nothing like a beer after a day in the ocean.

Came to post the same thing. The locals love them some Heineken.

Thanks for the explanation. Let's hope the modeling is accurate for Florida's sake.

So, same question I asked last night - when will we know when we will know?

Harder to fly through a thunderstorm than a hurricane. Those guys are overhyped.

It doesn't matter when we'll know - most in this thread won't believe it until it actually happens.

In Exuma this is all I see the locals drinking and the girls might occasionally be seen with a Sands.
